We would like to advise that from next week, the College canteen will no longer be accepting manual lunch orders at the canteen window in the mornings. All menu items are now available for purchase through the online canteen portal, and we encourage all parents and students to place their lunch orders online to ensure their preferred menu items are available.

Effective Monday 27 October, our College Canteen will only be able to accept online lunch orders.

Instructions on accessing the canteen portal can be found on our website:  /news/college/focus-week-school-canteen

Please note that students may still purchase items directly from the canteen at recess and lunchtime, however, availability will be limited to what is left on the day, and their preferred choices may not always be available.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we continue to improve our canteen service and efficiency.

This week, our Secondary students celebrated Nutrition Week with a range of fun and educational activities aimed at promoting healthy eating and mindful food choices.

Students enjoyed participating in games such as “Among Us – Nutrition Edition†and the exciting “Blindfold Guess the Food†challenge, where they tested their taste buds and knowledge about different foods. Interestingly, no student guessed brussels sprouts!

A highlight of the week was our Sunnah Spread, where students had the opportunity to taste and learn about various Sunnah foods, including dates, honey, olives, milk, pomegranate, and more, and discover their amazing health benefits as mentioned in the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet ï·º.

The atmosphere during lunchtime was full of energy, and it was wonderful to see students engaging positively and enjoying the experience together.

To further enrich their understanding, our Adab teachers explored nutrition from an Islamic perspective, highlighting the importance of gratitude, moderation, and mindful consumption.

Overall, it was a week filled with learning, fun, and appreciation for the blessings of good food and health.

Our Islamic Storytime sessions have been filled with laughter, learning and lots of little smiles! Each week, our youngest community members come together with their mums to enjoy stories, nasheeds, songs and fun craft activities that help them learn about Allah (SWT) and the beauty of our faith.

The sessions are run by our wonderful parent volunteers and offer a time for children to play, make friends and explore their creativity in a warm, welcoming space. Suitable for children aged 0 – 4 years old.

Storytime sessions are held in Room D4 and lovingly hosted by our dedicated parent volunteers Ms Hina Fahad, Ms Nabiha Atique and Ms Siti Nurfadhilah.

We are pleased to continue the weekly Ladies Qur’an Program this term.

Current sessions are held Wednesdays from 1:30pm–3:15pm in Room D4 and includes learning to read, using the same Muallim-us-Siraat series as our students, and also some tafseer.

Sessions are facilitated by a qualified teacher who has been assessed by the College Qur’an Department and are open to all levels â€“ from beginner to advanced learners.

We warmly invite all mums to join this beautiful program to strengthen your connection with the Qur’an and enjoy time with other sisters in our school community.
