The first Girls Halaqa program, hosted by º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ on Friday 22nd August, was a wonderful success with over 90 girls registering to participate.
The program was supported by Ms Safiye, Ms Inas, Ms Marwa, Ms Ayesha Salman, Ms Masiha, Ms Fatema, and PFC Co-President Ms Ayesha Quraishi, alongside a dedicated team of student volunteers organised by Ms Noori.
The highlight of the evening was the Halaqa talks delivered by four of our inspiring Alumni: Zainab Alhendawi, Areeba Bilal, Maryam Haq, and Khudija Rashid. Their words resonated strongly with the students, sparking thoughtful reflection and connection.
Upon arrival, the girls participated in a variety of fun and engaging activities followed by the halaqa talks hosted in the Musallah extension. Maghreb salah was prayed in congregation, and lastly pizzas were served for dinner, fostering both spiritual growth and friendships.
We are encouraged by the enthusiastic turnout and feedback from young people and parents and look forward to continuing the Girls Youth Halaqa program.
The next Girls Youth Halaqa will be held on Friday, 5 September from 4:30pm – 6:30pm.
