Focus of the Week: Where we spotlight a key topic to share helpful tips, important information, and clear processes, to support parents and students.
We would like to take a moment to remind families of the procedures in place for when students arrive late to school, and to highlight why punctuality matters.
Late Arrival Procedure:
These procedures help us ensure accurate attendance records and maintain the safety and wellbeing of all students during the school day.
Why Punctuality MattersArriving on time sets students up for a successful day. It allows them to:✔ Start the day calmly and prepared✔ Participate fully in morning routines and learning activities✔ Build responsibility and good habits✔ Minimise disruption to classmates and teachers
When students arrive on time, it contributes to a positive and focused learning environment for all. It also sends a strong message about the value of education and mutual respect within our school community.
We appreciate your ongoing support in helping your child arrive on time each day. By making punctuality a priority, families help create a calm and positive learning environment for all students.
Important Note: If a student arrives late and is not signed in, an SMS notification will be sent to parents advising that their child is absent or late. In this case, parents are required to contact the school with a reason for the late arrival or absence. This system ensures that we are able to account for all students and respond quickly to any potential concerns.
